Who should see a chiropractor?
Chiropractic care is for everyone—not just those in pain! Whether you’re an athlete, a new parent, a desk worker, or just looking to move and feel better, chiropractic care helps your body function at its best. We support people of all ages and stages, from tiny newborns to active adults. You don’t have to wait until something hurts to benefit from care—prevention and wellness are just as important!
What can I expect at my initial visit?
At your first appointment, we’ll take the time to really get to know you. We’ll go over a comprehensive health history, perform a thorough exam and assessment, and discuss what’s going on with your body. If time allows, we’ll also begin treatment right away and put together a personalized care plan that fits your needs, goals, and lifestyle.
What is your treatment style?
My treatment style is hands-on, personalized, and focused on getting to the root cause of your pain or dysfunction. I start with a thorough movement assessment to understand how your body is functioning. From there, I use a combination of soft tissue therapy/massage, fascial release, and rehab exercises to support long-term results.
I offer spinal adjustments, either manually or with a gentle tool called an activator, but they are never mandatory. Everything is tailored to your comfort level and goals—this is collaborative care, and you’re always in control.
What should I wear to my first visit?
You’re always welcome to come as you are—no stress! That said, if possible, please bring a pair of shorts and a sports bra or tank top to allow for a more thorough and comfortable exam and treatment. This helps us assess posture, movement, and any areas of concern more effectively. But don’t worry—if that’s not an option, we’ll still make it work!
Do you direct bill?
Yes! We offer direct billing to most major insurance companies to help make your visits smoother and more convenient. If you have questions about your specific coverage, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!
What is the cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We totally understand that life happens! But giving us a heads-up allows us to offer that time slot to someone else who may need care. All appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be subject to a fee. Thank you for being considerate!
