About Dr. Tandia Termuende
Chiropractor
Dr. Tandia Termuende completed her undergraduate degree in kinesiology at the university of Victoria, and her doctor of chiropractic degree at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.
Tandia grew up on the Sunshine Coast surrounded by outdoor activities which sparked a passion for promoting exercise and well-being. She has been involved in various sports her entire life, and now is an avid runner, mountain biker, and soccer player. She has worked with the university of Victoria rugby and field hockey teams, in an adaptive gym for individuals with mental and physical disabilities, as a CSEP certified personal trainer, and as a Special Olympics soccer coach. Additionally, she worked as a chiropractic intern under the former olympic chiropractor for the United States Olympic and Paralympic committee.
Tandia’s areas of interest include back and pelvic pain, neck pain, women’s health, pregnancy and postpartum care, pediatric care, post-concussion symptoms, TMJ disorder, headaches, shoulder injuries, running injuries, and athletic performance.
Tandia is Webster certified and has additional experience/training and a strong passion for working with pregnant individuals and infants.
Tandia believes in giving individuals the tools they need to improve and succeed on their own by addressing the Biopsychosocial components of injuries rather than solely on the symptoms. She uses ART soft tissue release, cupping, postural assessments, strength training, kinesiotaping, and manipulation therapy to help patients feel and perform at their best
Dr. Tandia has a pup named Pancho that loves to join on adventures.
